Valuing yourself as a therapist

Did you ever have someone refer to counselling as a ‘chat over a cup of tea’, or ‘just listening to people moaning on’, or even suggesting that you just say ‘how does that make you feel’ over and over?

In this episode I explore:

  • The mixed messages we receive
  • The importance of self-care
  • 3 things to try to make change
  • The importance of peer support
